Buyer Mission
Field Trip to Brazil
The Buyers Mission is an immersive, multi-day event designed to connect global textile industry leaders with Brazilian cotton producers, exporters, and sustainability experts. Held annually in Brazil, the mission offers international buyers, from countries such as China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Turkey, a firsthand look at the cotton production process.
Participants visit cotton farms, gins, laboratories, and research centers across key producing states like Mato Grosso, Goiás, Bahia, and São Paulo.
These visits provide insights into Brazil’s commitment to quality, traceability, and environmental responsibility. The mission is part of Abrapa’s broader strategy to strengthen trade relations and promote Brazilian cotton as a sustainable and reliable choice in the global market.
